Volunteering at MHM

Mental Health Media aims to reduce discrimination on mental health grounds by promoting the diversity, visibility and expertise of people with experience of mental distress.

Our work takes the form of a variety of projects and your job would be to support us. This could mean coming in for one day or on an ongoing basis, but the times you come in will be flexible according to your availability.

Working with us, you will gain experience of working in a media environment, an understanding of the voluntary sector and the satisfaction of seeing project work make a real difference to people.
We ask for volunteers to have an interest in working with socially excluded groups and in media and communications. It’s also helpful if you are computer literate.
